Child attacked by family dog

A three-year-old girl has suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries after being attacked by the family dog at a home in the community of Bowness.
Calgary police say emergency crews were called to a home in the 42-hundred block of 72nd Street northwest just before 7 p.m. on Thursday where they found the child.
She was taken to Alberta Children’s Hospital where she is now being treated.
Bylaw services is investigating.
