RCMP look for suspects in High River armed home robbery

High River RCMP are hoping the public might have some tips after a scary, armed home robbery at a rural residence east of Aldersyde.
It happened just before 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon when a family member returned to their home to find the front door open and an unfamiliar car in the driveway.
They entered the house and announced their presence at which point an unknown man came running from one of the rooms.
The family member gave chase until the suspect produced a black handgun and threatened to shoot.
He fled the home with a red suitcase.
The suspect is described as 5’8″ with a stocky build, Caucasian, no facial hair and a shaved head. He was wearing a black ball cap with no significant markings, a black hoody and grey sweat pants.
His car is described as a black Honda Civic, mid-2000s model, a two-door hatchback with tinted windows and powder blue spoked rims.
