Young girl rushed to hospital after falling out Silverado window

A young girl is in hospital after falling out a second storey window at a home in Silverado Thursday evening.

Paramedics were called to the home in Silverado Bank Gardens just before 5:30 pm.

EMS spokesperson Stuart Brideaux says the girl was originally thought to be in life-threatening condition, but her condition improved on the way to hospital.

“On arrival at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, EMS listed her as being in serious but stable, non-life threatening condition, still with a concern perhaps for minor head injury and some other soft tissue injuries but at this time believed to be stable,” he said.
