RCMP investigate fatal crash near Airidrie

There’s been a deadly crash east of Airdrie.
Paramedics were called to Highway 567 just after 11:30 a.m. Monday following a collision between a semi and a pickup truck.
“Our staff did declare the male driver of the pickup truck, a man in his early 20s, deceased at the scene,” explained EMS spokesperson Stuart Brideaux.
The man driving the semi was not hurt.
Highway 567, west of Range Road 283, was closed for a number of hours to allow the RCMP to investigate.
