Governor General promotes new book at University of Calgary

Canada’s Governor General David Johnston visited the University of Calgary on Wednesday night to speak about his new book ‘Ingenious’.

The book is about Canadian innovations that make the world a smarter, smaller, kinder, safer, healthier, wealthier, and happier place.

His excellency also took questions from the packed audience inside the university’s Energy Environment Experiential Learning building about how Canada has a long tradition of welcoming new ideas.

Proceeds from ‘Ingenious’ will go to the Rideau Hall Foundation promoting activities and programs that support innovation.

It’s available online and in bookstores now.
