Inappropriate text messages and conduct outside of school hours has landed a southern Alberta teacher in some hot water with the law.
Raymond RCMP have charged 33 year old Jentry Jack Salmon with two counts of sexual exploitation involving a student.
Mounties first became aware of the issue in October. Salmon was later charged and made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
According to the Raymond High School website, the suspect is the school’s girl’s basketball coach.
Westwind School Division says in a statement on its website that Salmon was “immediately suspended” in October 2016 after they learned of the allegations.
