For the most part, Calgarians listened to city demands during the snow route parking ban.

Even so, City officials say 2,759 tickets were issued during the 60-hour ban and 11 vehicles were towed to the impound lot.

Director of Roads Troy McLeod told 660 NEWS he was happy with the co-operation his staff received from Calgary residents, adding the quicker they moved, the quicker they got the work done.

The parking ban ended Thursday at 6 a.m., 12 hours ahead of schedule.
