RCMP lay manslaughter charges after “long and complex investigation”

The RCMP South Major Crimes Unit has charged a 42-year-old man with manslaughter, after a more than year long investigation

On June 27th, 2015, the Blood Tribe Police Service started investigating after Sara-Jean Big Sorrel Horse was found unresponsive and later declared dead at hospital.

Her death was ruled a homicide, but it took until Friday, February 3rd for an arrest to be made.

Jimmy Bad Man has been charged with manslaughter and will be in Lethbridge court on Monday.

Police say it took a “long and complex investigation”

Bad Man also faces aggravated assault charges after an incident in Cardston in January.
