Two killed in Blood Reserve roll over

New details are emerging about a fatal crash on Saturday that claimed the lives of two people.

First responders were called to the scene around 4:30 in the afternoon to find a 2009 Dodge Durango had hit the north ditch of Bullhorn Road and rolled.

It happened near the community of Lavern.

The two people inside were pronounced dead at the scene, neither one of them was wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Their names are not being released but they have both been identified as members of the Blood Reserve.

No word yet from investigators as to whether alcohol, speed or road conditions were a factor in the crash.

They’re reminding members to wear their seatbelts at all times. In the meantime they’re continuing to hold Check-Stops throughout the holiday season.
