Calgary Transit’s proposed ‘Green Line’ was discussed behind closed doors on Monday.
City councillors were coming up with contingency plans for the transit improvement project during a lengthy in-camera meeting that took up most of the day.
Green Line supporter and Ward 12 City Councillor Shane Keating says they’re setting priorities:
“Hopefully, from that, then administration can make a judgement call on council’s idea of where we should be going and where we should be starting and what the first project would look like,” said Keating.
He’s hoping the province will commit to funding a third of the project by the end of the year so work can begin.
