A crash in the city’s northeast has sent three people to hospital, at least one with serious, internal injuries.
Calgary Police say the collision occurred after a mini-van rear-ended a pick-up truck, the pick-up was sent careening onto a boulevard where it struck a pedestrian.
A witness in the area say they also struck a light pole in the vicinity.
It happened at the corner of 64th Ave N.E. and Falconridge Blvd.
The pedestrian has been rushed to the Foothills Hospital with a broken hip.
All three are listed in stable, non-life threatening condition, no word yet if charges will be laid.
Investigators at this stage also don’t know if speed or alcohol is being considered a factor.
