Calgary Greek Festival ready to wow the city

You can celebrate the changing of the seasons Greek style this weekend.
The Hellenic Community Centre on Tamarac Drive in the southwest is the location for the 18th annual Calgary Greek Festival.
Organizers are expecting three days of fun, food and dancing.
“It goes Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” Dave Anagnostou told 660 NEWS. “There will be lots of food, a kids’ zone, face painting, a bunch of different games and Greek dancing. There will be live Greek music.”
They’ll also be giving back to the community with some of the proceeds from the event going to support local charities.
