An RV dealer north of Calgary going belly-up is causing headaches for its customers.
Sunridge RV filed for bankruptcy just over a week ago, and since then many have complained they don’t know what’s happening with their purchases or trade-ins.
Leah Brownridge with the Better Business Bureau says there are things consumers can do.
“Right now the course of action that’s best to take, is with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Counsel as Sunridge RV was or is one of the licensees of that regulatory body,” she said.
Brownridge says the BBB has resigned Sunridge RV’s accreditation and updated its files to let consumers know about the bankruptcy.
She says there aren’t too many complaints against the company right now, though they expect calls to start coming as a result of recent media coverage.
