Photographer looking to recover stolen camera equipment reaches out on social media

A photographer who planned to snap photos in picturesque Banff, is looking for help after $1,500 worth of equipment was snatched away.
Dax Justin is spreading the word on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and social media users are helping.
The stolen goods include a Pentax K-3, Canon 7D DSLR cameras, a GPS device and a LeapPad.
“I was given that first camera, by a good friend of mine — Ernest. It carries a little bit of sentimental value more than anything else, as well as my daughter’s LeapPad. The items are all material goods, so I’m, more than anything, thankful that my daughter and I are okay and no one got hurt.”
He hopes people keep an eye out for the equipment on sites such as Kijiji.
