VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Have you shaken your fist at someone while driving or even flipped them the bird?
A new survey from a major insurance agency finds one in three Canadians fall victim to a road rage incident every month.
The survey from State Farm suggests just under half of us would keep a cool head and ignore another driver experiencing road rage.
About one in five would lean on the horn. The rest of us would shoot the offending driver a dirty look, use some colourful language, make a crude hand gesture, or at least complain about them to others in the car.
Tailgating, distracted driving, and being cut off are the top triggers. But the survey also found two thirds of us admit we’ve caught ourselves speeding in the warmer months.
