Local businesses compete in soccer tournament

Times are tough for the oil industry, but that isn’t stopping them from helping the community.
Wednesday marks the third annual Calgary Corporate Soccer Tournament, which will take place at McMahon Stadium from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A number of local businesses are stepping up for the one day event to support Calgary Street Soccer.
There are teams from Husky Energy, Crescent Point Energy, Norton Rose, Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Burnett Duckworth Palmer, Colliers International, CBRE, Altus Group and Parlee McLaws.
The goal of Calgary Street Soccer is to help the homeless rehabilitate their lives through the sport.
