Greg Van Tighem rides the Dempster Highway to support MS research

Greg Van Tighem has almost completed the Dempster Highway Ride End to End to End MS.

He started his journey in Dawson City Yukon and rode his bike to the end of the Dempster Highway in Inuvik, Northwest Territories.

He told 660 News, this is his third year riding to raise money to support Multiple Sclerosis research, and his motivations are personal.

“One of my best friends has MS and I made a commitment quite a few years ago for her to try and make a difference and try and help out. I’ve been involved in the MS bike tours for a number of years locally and then I thought I have to do something beyond that. That’s when I came up with end to end to end MS. ” Says Van Tighem.

His goal every year is to raise $93,000 and he’s well on his way this year.

If you are interested in making a donation you can visit his website Endms93.com.

Van Tighem plans to continue his ride to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories before heading back down to his hometown of Calgary.
