The Calgary Home and Design Show is underway at the BMO Centre, giving Calgarians the chance to get design and renovation help from some of Canada’s top experts.
With more than 400 exhibitors on hand at this year’s show, there’s information on renovations, decorating and everything needed to make a home an oasis.
HGTV star Bryan Baeumler is one of the stars appearing at the show, sharing his tips and tricks for staying out of trouble while renovating.
“There’s all kinds of great trades that will be down there,” he said. “Everybody has a project in their home. There’s all kinds of new materials, new technologies, and design ideas. People can ask some questions and just have some fun.”
Baeumler adds the biggest problems for home renovators is biting off more than they can chew, and failing to plan and follow a budget.
The star of ‘Leave it to Bryan’ and ‘Disaster DIY’ hits the main stage Friday night at 6 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
The Home and Design Show runs all weekend at the BMO Centre Friday until 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
