Chestermere to wrap up record-breaking hockey game

The world’s longest hockey game is into its final stretch in Chestermere, east of Calgary.

Players have been hitting the ice non-stop at the Hockey Marathon for the Kids.

By the time Team HOPE and Team CURE faceoff for the last time, they hope to have raised $2-million for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

There is sure to be a big celebration as the 248-hour game wraps up at 6:30p.m. on Wednesday.
