Best selling author to donate profits to Distress Centre Calgary

She couldn’t find a good book to help her deal with a battle against depression, so Lee Horbachewski said she desired to write her own.

A Quiet Strong Voice skips the medical jargon and focuses on practical tips to fight depression based on her own experience.

“A lot of people just want to feel heard and feel understood and a lot of the clinical books are exactly that, clinical,” said Horbachewski

A Quiet Strong Voice released last week and became an International best seller on Amazon with all net profits from the official launch date – March 3rd being donated to Distress Centre Calgary.  Moving forward 50 per cent of all net profits will go to the centre.

“I really wanted to say thank you to Distress Centre Calgary, if it wasn’t for their 24 hour crisis line I probably wouldn’t be here today,” said Horbachewski.
