Parents hoping to show their kids a Stampede experience

It’s the annual BMO Kids Day at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, with thousands of youngsters getting free admission before 9 a.m.
But why do parents feel the need to make the special visit to the grounds?
Most parents tell 660News they either want to start or continue a Stampede tradition. A few said were dragged to the grounds by their kids for the entertainment and midway rides.
A few fathers say they want to show their sons and daughters the rodeo and Grand Stand show, just like their parents showed them. Some say they liked the word “free” and saved some money taking the kids down for some food and a show.
No matter who was down at the grounds, it seemed like every parent wanted to make their child happy and thought bringing him or her down was the right idea.
