Prepare the rose basket: Citytv has found its star of ‘The Bachelor Canada’

TORONTO – “The Bachelor Canada” has found its first-ever rose donor.
After a Canada-wide search, Citytv says it will reveal the star of the upcoming Canuck spinoff of the hit American dating series on May 1 on “Breakfast Television,” Rogers Radio and BachelorCanada.ca.
In a news release, the network has also offered its first clues about the Canadian bachelor, saying he “has small town roots,” and his best pickup line is: “What’s your name?”
He’s also said to be “drawn to intelligent women who are comfortable in their own skin.”
Citytv says daily hints about the mystery bachelor will be revealed each morning on “Breakfast Television” leading up to May 1.
Clues about his identity will also be teased out on the show’s website.
“The Bachelor Canada,” in which a group of women vie for the heart of one suitor, begins shooting this spring and will debut on Citytv this fall.
