Homicide charges laid in two year old case

Police have charged a man, already in jail, with the murder of a bartender two years ago.

36-year-old Dexter Bain was working at Our Place Pub and Grill in the northeast when three people came into the building through the back door, confronting him. Police say it was a targeted attack.

Video surveillance in the area picked up images of the three. Two of them were identified.

On Monday, 25-year-old Kyle Victor Ledesma was charged with second degree murder.  He was arrested at the Remand Centre.

The second suspect has been identified, while police have a description of the third.

He is described as being Aboriginal, in his early 20s, 5’10” tall, and was wearing a black winter jacket with light-coloured lining, a checkered shirt, blue T-shirt and a black toque.
