What’s in the stars for the royal couple?

When Prince William and Kate Middleton marry this coming Friday, Canadians will be watching the ceremony under the stars. Literally!  The soon to be royal couple will exchange vows around 4am, Mountain time, Friday, April 29th.

Speaking of the stars, astrology expert Georgia Nicols, who’s column appears daily in The Calgary Herald, says Kate and William are a match made in heaven.

“Kate is a Capricorn, and Prince William is a Cancer,” Nicols tells 660News. “The old bit about opposites attract is actually true, because in your chart the sign opposite you is on your house of marriage and house of partnerships.  So to begin with, we have the very fact that both their signs are perfect because they’re opposites.”

“Secondly, William has his moon in Cancer,” Nicolls continues. “By the way, we are far more than one sign.  So he has sun in Cancer and moon in Cancer.  And Kate has her moon in Cancer.  Well I can tell you this:  any two people, if they have their moons in the same element, they will find it far easier to live together.  But in their case, they actually have it in the same element and the same sign.  So they will be mutually supportive.”

Nicols says even the date for the wedding, Friday April 29th, has good omens with Leo rising.

“So I do believe there’s going to be some quality of this marriage that surprises people,” she says. “There’s something unexpected.  But the wedding itself is far grander, if you can believe it, than the wedding of Di and Charles, because the wedding of these two people — Kate and William — has Leo rising. Leo is the sign of royalty.  So for some reason it’s going to be grander or more royal.”

Nicols recently released a comprehensive new book on astrology, called “You And Your Future.”

She’ll be appearing on City TV’s Breakfast Television, Friday April 29th at 7am, and Sunday May 1st at 11am at The Plaza Theatre, 1133 Kensington Road. Tickets are available at Page’s Bookstore in Kensington.
