As we say so long to 2010, we’ll take a look at some of the entertainment headlines over the year, and replay those interviews.

In film, Cree filmmaker Neil Diamond’s released his film Reel Injun – which looks at First Nation stereotypes in Hollywood and also picked up  a coveted Gemini award.

Keeping with the Hollywood theme, Hollywood blockbuster Avatar hit the big screen earlier in the year, and came under the scrutiny of many First Nation people over the similarities of resource extraction in First Nation territories.

‘A Good Indian’ is another film with a message. It’s a short by Andrew George and explores skin colour in First Nations communities.

In television, God’s Lake is an APTN program and has a twist with an online game to go with the t.v show.

In community theatre, a cool little theatre company opened a new studio in their community near North Bay,  Ontario this past fall.

In music, Digging Roots won a Juno for best Aboriginal recording of the year, as well as many other awards in the Aboriginal music industry on both sides of the border.
