Edmonton International Airport is back on their Stop the Calgary Habit kick.
They are re-launching the campaign they started back in March, which encourages people in and around Edmonton to fly out of Alberta’s capital rather than driving to Calgary’s YYC.
An Edmonton airport spokesperson tells The Globe and Mail the campaign is working.
She says an estimated 19,000 fewer trips were made by Edmontonians to Calgary for flights between March and August this year compared to the same period last year.
