Jackie Tran’s fight to return to Canada is over

Accused Calgary gangster, Jackie Tran, has lost his last legal bid to try and fight his deportation order.
The Federal Court has ruled against revisiting Tran’s final avenue of appeal, which essentially means he won’t be returning to Canada.
Raj Sharma, Tran’s lawyer, tells 660News the decision comes as a disappointment for him and his client.
Sharma says he’s also somewhat surprised because he feels they had a very strong legal basis to challenge Tran’s removal order.
The only way Tran could return to Canada, is with permission from the Minister of Immigration.
