Hollingsworth falls short of podium

Mellisa Hollingsworth of Eckville, Alta., was sitting in second overall with one run remaining in women’s skeleton, but fell short of a podium finish.
However, Canada may still be able to reach the podium, Friday, as Jon Montgomery of Manitoba remains a top contender in the men’s skeleton. He finished second in his third heat going into the finals, which is slated to start in under an hour.
