More child sex charges laid against Calgary man

More charges have been laid against a Calgary man charged late last year with possession of child pornography.
The Integrated Child Exploitation Unit has now charged 46-year-old Bradley Shawn Lemire with several offences including sexual assault and making child pornography.
The four month long investigation discovered two young victims of sexual abuse.
Lemire remains in custody and will appear in court on Tuesday.
“Keeping Alberta’s children safe from those who would prey on them is a vital function of ALERT, and it is a role they continue to excel in,” said Solicitor General and Minister of Public Security Frank Oberle. “ALERT’s integrated policing model is proving to be very effective at getting drugs, gangs and predators off Alberta streets and keeping Alberta communities safe and secure.”
