Explosion in southeast Calgary home, no injuries

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – The Calgary Fire Department responded to an explosion in the southeast community of Copperfield on Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 2:30 p.m., crews descended on the 600 block of Copperpond Circle and found damage to the garage of a single-family home.
On arrival, there was light smoke but no fire present in the area.

All residents had evacuated the premises. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
